Bill Ewing – Lay Pastor
Hi — I’m Bill Ewing, lay pastor here at Oak Grove Church. I was born in Indiana county, PA in 1956, which only seems a short while ago. I remember my 1st grade teacher crying as she told us she could not read the Bible to us anymore.
I graduated from Saltsburg High School, “GO TROJANS”, in 1974. After graduation I attended school at AWC in Salem, Ohio and obtained my degree in ministry in 1978, and in teaching, in 1979. I taught for 29 years at Stoneboro Wesleyan School, Stoneboro, PA. I married Cinda Mishler in 1980 and we have three sons who still attend Oak Grove and contribute to our services in various ways.
I am a volunteer fireman, a self-employed remodeler, and serve on various community and business boards. I really enjoy filling the pulpit and attending to various needs of the congregation for Pastor Ritchey when he asks, and especially look forward to teaching my Sunday School class. My hobbies include vacationing with my wife and family, reading, sports of any kind, hunting deer, eating desserts and following things on my laptop. Hey, enough about me…now come on out and worship with us!
